What is your level?

Professional

LEVEL 1

The player has played tours like WPT, Premier Padel, Ultimate Padel Tour, A1P or is part of the countries national team. Competes and wins in the highest category of his/her country and internationally.

The tournaments he/she plays are for prize money and makes a living with sponsors and playing in different professional tours. The player trains daily and has a pre-season, season and an off-season training plans. Level 1

Elite

LEVEL 2

The player participates in A class or 1st category tournaments locally. He/She trains weekly and competes occassionally. These players can surely practice and play with professionals but will be consider “sparrings”.

Understands and values the importance of training with rhythm and consistency and can manage rallying exercises perfectly. He/she is an all-round player that has a solid technique for strokes and for special shots. The player follows tactical playing concepts and loves the competition.

Competitive

LEVEL 3

The player is successfully competing on 2nd category; also known as the level B. He/She knows how to follow a training session that requires rallying exercises such as: wall to wall cross-court, one high and one low cross-court and transitions from different positions with decent pace and consistency.

He/She has a clear understanding of different positions on court and is good at recovering and resetting the point all over again. The player plays with Tasty concepts but fails on occasion when executing. He/She knows what needs to be done and what choices to make. However he/she does not always have time to choose correctly and still makes some unforced errors. These players can surely practice and play with elite players and many times challenge them.

Advanced

LEVEL 4

The player is familiar with most of the shots and tactical aspects of the game. He/she uses different speeds for different shots and length variations but every now and then makes unforced errors. He/she is able to execute shots with side spin, top spin and slice when rallying and playing.

The player is consistent with basic rallies like wall to wall, transitions and one high and one low with good pace. In the group trainings he/she has control and consistency. He/she competes occasionally. These players can practice and play with competitive players as long as their activation and focus is on point.

Intermediate

LEVEL 5

The player is able to manage a decent shot selection but occasionally makes tactical mistakes. He/she struggles when the game gets faster and stresses when the pace of the ball increases.

The player is familiar with training drills and rallies, but lacks consistency, control and precision. He/she needs to decrease the amount of unforced errors and find consistency with decent pace. He/she can improve position on court and the recovering skills and how to reset the point. He/she focuses more on playing matches than training and enjoys participating in club leagues.

Recreational

LEVEL 6

He/she is a passionate player but unfamiliar with the playing tactics. The player struggles with position on court and has too many unforced errors and poor shot selection. 

The player trains well with the basket but struggles to achieve rallying exercises such as wall to wall, one up – one back, one high – one low and transitions. Practices regularly and enjoys participating in different club activities such as Americanos, Mix-ins, Mexicanos and friendly matches.

Casual

LEVEL 7

An enthusiastic weekly player that is working on keeping more balls in play to become a better player. He/she needs to do training with the basket and educate his body by doing repetitions. The player is not able to do rallying exercises and lacks consistency and control. Plays matches with colleagues and lower level Americanos and Mix-ins.

Novice

LEVEL 8

A pancake padel player on a personal mission to develop enough to be able to play with many different club players. He/she has a strong curiosity for the sport and willingness to learn and ennjoy the journey. He/she needs to do intensive basket training and lots of repetitions for a two to three months to be able to participate in lower level americanos and mix-ins. Should only participate in guided club activities and play with other novice players.
